Why should I choose NOVA as my cleaning partner?

Because we always clean to the Mara-standard. That’s higher than any other company that you’ll come across. We train our teams extensively making sure that they have the knowledge and expertise to leave every part of your gym or leisure setting hygienically clean and fit for purpose.

Are we tied into lengthy contracts?

For longer term agreements, we usually offer 1 to 2 year contracts with our clients. You are able to exit from the contract with no penalties, with a 1 to 3 month notice period. When you become a client, we'll set out the particular terms of your agreement with you upfront so that everyone is clear and happy. We're extremely proud to say we've never had a client exit from their contract early. 

Our contracts are in place to protect your business, provide continuity of service, and give you peace of mind. It also gives our own staff reassurance, and reinforces our commitment to long-term partnerships with our clients at every level of our team. 

What happens if a cleaner goes sick?

Our staff receive training regarding what to do if they are sick. They inform their Nova line manager who together with your account manager will arrange cover.

We have a bank of casual cleaners or we’ll use cleaners from other sites to cover for sickness and holidays. Our account manager will always take the cover staff to site the first time to give them the proper induction for the site they are covering.

What size facilities do you work in?

We generally work with businesses who require several hours or more of cleaning a day, 5 or 7 days a week

Our minimum contract is 15 weekly hours or for one-off cleans it is 20 hours.

Will I have the same team every week?

For regular business you should have the same team but there will be occasions when it isn’t possible, like when those individuals are on holiday or sick and we provide cover.

Do you supply all the cleaning products?

We supply all the chemicals and equipment, and we train all our staff to be COSHH trained, so they know how to store and use products correctly. 

I have multiple locations across the UK - can you cover them all?

It is likely that we can. We have a really effective recruitment and onboarding process that allows us to achieve this.

If we can’t help, we will always tell you so that we don’t let anyone down.

I have a very large space that needs someone on site all day - can you accommodate that?

Yes we can. Contact us and send us a few details about your space, and we can work with you to come up with the best solution. 

Do you offer one-off cleans?

Yes, we do. With a contract minimum of 20 hours.

What happens after my initial enquiry?

You’ll be contacted by someone from the Nova team the same day or the following working day if we receive your enquiry in the afternoon.

We’ll ask you some questions about the work that you need doing and assuming that there’s a fit then we would arrange a no-obligation free site survey, followed by a quotation.

Once you accept our quotation, we can have a trained cleaner on site within a matter of days.

What is a free site survey?

A member of the Nova team will visit your premises and, along with you, will walk through with a checklist, discussing the services that you require in order to generate a quote.
