How did you end up here?
I came over from Brazil and helped my brother in his domestic cleaning business and then we decided to go commercial in 2014.
What’s your pet hate in business?
The lack of client care and accountability demonstrated at times. I want to provide the best and some businesses expect clients to come on board without
providing a good service to them.
If you weren’t doing this, what would you be doing?
I am very creative and before living in the UK, I worked in beauty therapy. A lot of my childhood was spent drawing and I think if I wasn’t doing this, I would be designing dresses!
Who in business do you most admire?
I really admire Michelle Obama. She is perfect, classy and knows how to behave and portray herself. She is always working for the community and goes above and beyond.
What advice would you give to people just starting out in their careers?
Resilience. When starting a business, you need to be very resilient, and you must make a lot of sacrifices such as your time. You must have to have clear goals, never give up and believe in what you do.
What’s your favourite thing about cleaning?
The results and the peace and excitement that I have when a job is finished. Your mind creates a new space where you can think and feel better and are happier.
What’s your favourite cleaning product?
Washing up liquid because it’s so versatile yet so simple – It’s multipurpose. Also, micro fibre cloths!
What’s your favourite scent?
I like the smell of the ocean – I love everything about nature.
