“When I arrived in the UK from Brazil, I couldn’t speak English, so cleaning was a really good work option for me.  I come from a country where cleaning is a way of life. There’s a lot of dust and dirt in the air so my mother cleaned every day, it was ingrained in us from an early age! Cleaning opened a lot of doors for me, it allowed me to meet people, gave me a sense of achievement every day and I worked my way up into management. I could see that a lot of companies weren’t doing a great job of cleaning or looking after their employees properly which is why I started Nova.

I’m so proud of what we have achieved and look forward to building on our success, supporting our clients so that they can focus on what they do best.

I’m passionate about helping people who find themselves in the same position as I was in, and I think this gives me a really important opportunity to contribute to communities.”
